i have 20 thousand pounds debt on credit cards and cannot afford to pay them the equity on my house is ten thousand will i lose my house if i declare myself bankrupt
I would say no you may not lose your house but if your total debts are £20k and equity 10K then you may need to play this one differently.
I want to suggest you give the guys at the helpline a call, if they cant speak straight away leave a name and a contact number and someone will go through your options with you.
