hi, is it possible to get a joint co-op cashminder account or does it have to be sole names? do you suggest i open the account before BR for wages and tax credits and CB ? how long does it take to set up an account? thankyou to all for your help.

Hi

yes the COOP do operate joint cashminder accounts although you may decide it gives you both more flexibility of you have separate accounts.

Are you both petitioning for Br or only one of you?

Depending upon which part of the country you live in it is quite acceptable to open a new account prior to Br ( takes around 10 days).

I agree with Paul - if its possible, go for the single accounts. The coop are the bank to be with at present if you are going br, and i had my card & pin within 5 days of going into the branch.

I also opened it prior to br, but made them aware and they said it would not be a problem.

Good luck

Onwards and Upwards is the way im going :-0)

From "Moneyworries" to "Movin On" in 3 months is fantastic :-))

xx
