Can someone help me please, I went bankrupt in August of this year have heard nothing, except for 2 letters saying I could keep my car and the tools of my trade,I was made homeless during this time but did inform the OR of my situation and have since been re-housed by the council again I sent a letter to OR, is this the normal length of time and is this normal proceedure?

This is normal. I know someone who wanted to get his accounts back from the OR, as his accountant needed them. He sent letter after letter with no reply.

Another person wants to purchase the beneficial interest in his property, but letter after letter is ignored.

I think part of the problem may be that they are understaffed and finding it difficult to cope with the volume of people going BR.

Mind you on the other side of things, letters of discharge appear to be coming out on time........mind you that may be an automated system.

I have found my OR responds very quickly by email. Answers every question within an hour or so.
