Within my divorce settlement it states that my ex husband has to pay for some furniture that we bought as a couple but that is in my ex husbands name. As i am due to declare myself bankrupt on the 23rd of this month, does this agreement still stand? Or is he entitled to reposses the furniture? I don't owe him any money.
I can't see why he would be entitled to reposess the furniture.
He has to pay for it, you have it and unless it is a priceless antique the Official Receiver will not want it because second hand furniture is of very little value
