Now you're discharged it's yours to keep.

Hi
So once you have been discharged and monies you won/give to you no matter how large is yours to keep?

As far as I'm aware once you are discharged you don't need to inform the OR of a windfall or inheritance.

However, if the windfall or inheritance originated whilst you were BR (i.e. won the lottery the day before you were discharged and got the money after) then the OR could claim the money.

Hi i agree with skip,

Once discharged any monies that you win or inherit are yours, if the person died whilst you were still a bankrupt but the estate had not paid out then that would go to the OR.
