Hi
im going bankrupt in Feb and am currently with Thinkbanking and they are a nightmare, I cant get another account I have applied for Natwest and Co-op and they have both declined and I have debts with Nationwide, RBS, Barclays to name a few.

Abbey and Halifax/Lloyds and Yorkshire Bank and Building Society have also said no.

Does anyone know of anywhere I can goto im really stuck, Im just looking for a basic account that I can setup my direct debits on.

Thanks

why did Barlcays reject you? I opened 2 accounts with them on the day I went bankrupt and they were fine and I was not even on the electorol register, did you fill the form in and send it off? Sometimes the staff try to open a "proper" account with a credit check, its the basic cash card account you want.
