Hi , and thankyou for all your replies, they have guided me so much. I posted question earlier about OR informing my landlord as i had a guarantor with letting agent. if i was to put my partners name only on the letting agreement would they still inform landlord. I ask because my partner is very sick which lead to my having to give up work to become his carer, which in turn has lead me to the position i am in at the moment. I know my landlord would serve us notice, and i am trying to avoid the upheaval for my partner at this time. many thanks

I am not sure about changing the letting agreement but your landlord as far as i am aware may not be informed.

Are you on good terms with him, have you been there a while, it may be worth if you can having a quiet word as even though they stick in their T&C's about bankruptcy they dont always follow through and if your a good tennent then all should be well.

If i were you and you are able to i would ask to speak to them and explain or you could contact them anonymously.
