Wonder if anyone can help me with this?? I am renting a property that was a joint tenancy with my husband. We have separated and he moved out a few months ago and I did not tell the letting agency as I have been worried that they may tell me to leave as I am now a single parent, although I do work and have been able to pay the rent and am not in any arrears. There is also nothing in the tenancy agreement about bankrupts being kicked out.

Anyhoo I am going to go bankrupt next week and I am aware that the OR will tell the landlord. The OR will see that my husband is also on the tenancy so will they tell the landlord that I am living there without my husband?? I am extremely worried as to what the landlord will do as being a bankrupt and living there without my husband's income will look pretty bad!! Husband does give me some money but this is irregular so will I have to declare that in my income??

Thanks!

HI
We posted a similar problem on here the other day so i know where yer coming from.
The advice we got was that its not 100% that or will tell landlord and as long as rents being paid thats all landlords bothered about.
thinking about it logically he never batted an eyelid when we told him i was out of work a couple of months ago.
trouble is logical thinking goes out the window at times like these.
one things for sure someone will come along and advise you a lot better than i can.
good luck.
