Hi andy

please don't take this the wrong way but not many, if any, on this site would wish to be actively involved in recommending ways in which you could, in the future, get yourself into debt again.

If it's a mortgage you're thinking of then you're credit score won't matter in the current market.
You would need a substantial deposit whatever your credit standing. And the way things look it will be another 5 years or so before credit is anywhere near as easy to obtain by which time your bankruptcy will have dropped off your credit report.

Look on my blog there is a link to a Pre Paid Gold Card that can be used to help with your credit score.

I am not suggesting that i am trying to get you into debt again but it is a good card and a good way to help you.

Hope that helps

wow thankyou! thats realy helpfull! a prepayed card seems to be the god send i was looking for...

i suppose the next question is; is it now possible to get a current account as upposed to the basic cash that i have a preasent?

I am so greatfull for the help. bankruptcy can feel like a very lonely road, but knowing there are other people in the same boat is comforting :)

Your welcome.

You will need to shop around for one of the banks to take you on now for a Current account. Its not just those who have been or are bankrupt the whole banking system is harder for getting accounts.

Do you have a basic account as the first port of call would be your current bank
