thanks for that we dont own our own property it belongs to the local council ,the only thing is that the child tax and child benefit gets paid into his account can they still touch his account as thoese two benefits are in my name thank you
no they can't touch his account. You will have to complete an income and expenditure form based on the household, not just you personally, even though your OH is not declaring bankruptcy. Therefore it's irrelevant whose account the benefits are paid into.
