hi guys

we are a self employed couple and wondered if you could help.

we go bankcrupt begining of feb and have quite a couple of good weeks at work, I have stopped paying all the bills now. Previously we used to take £1000 a month in drawings each (before things got bad), and have this saved now, will I be allowed to keep this in my account for our next months rent and living expenses or will they take this off us?

Hi

to make sure withdraw the money before you declare bankruptcy. Providing it is for essential expenditure such as rent, housekeeping utilities it's perfectly acceptable to do so. Just explain at the OR's interview that you did so for fear of your cashflow being frozen in your account.

It won't be a problem.
