im going bankrupt soon but i have a savings account through work in which i save £10 per week, will i have to cancel this ? also when i was in my mis-advised IVA i had a catalogue with £1000 credit of which i owe £450, would i be advised to pay this off as soon as i can, prefrebly before my hearing?

Hi

if you can afford to continue doing so you can still save the £10 per week post bankruptcy.
However, the monies saved in the account up to the date of petitioning the court will be claimed by the OR as part of your estate.

You must not, at this stage, pay one creditor in preference to another.The remainder of the catalogue debt will have to be included in your bankruptcy.
