hi everyone. I am a new member so hope I'm not geting this wrong. Igot divorced five years ago, only real asset our home in Italy. In seetlement I took on all debts, circa 50k to get a divorce. Agreement was ex-wife woud then sell house and I would pay all debts from my half. House was valued at 350kpre credit crunch. Ex-wife then refused to sel hous or move out and rent it. Debts now 100k so I am seriously looking at bankruptcy within a month or two. House is in joint names but by chance I have deeds here in U.K. As I am currently paying 2k plus amonth to banks and credit cards, I feel bankruptcy is only possibility of getting on with my life. House must be worth over 200k even now with forced sale so should clear my debts IF OR forces sale. Will he do this? Will this sale delay my discharge if it takes over a year? Any advice wellcome. Thanks Dave
