Hi
I have just recieved a letter from the reciever, suggesting a restriction of 11 years if accepted to be 10 years. Is going to the court ,hold the risk of restriction being extended? . Is there a chance of reducing it by writing to OR about mitigating factor associated with my BR.Thw reason for my BR/restriction is gambling an overpaid money by error. Will gambiling addiction, compulsive gambling ,family and the possibility of losing my jb be considered as a mitigating reasons ?.10 yrs will mean ,never be able to get a morgage in the future, which will be a real problem for my family of 5.
Kind regards

Hi

Hope you and family are well.

Sorry to hear that they have taken such a harsh view. I suspect - if I remember correctly - that the nhs trust overpayment is probably the major problem as they may well view this as more than an oversight.

I don't think that your job is at risk - you would have already have lost it by now, however the mortgage situation is a problem.

Please remember that for the next 3 - 5 years it is going to be a problem for everyone to get a mortgage ( not unless you believe Gordon !) and even then you would need a sunstantial deposit - of around 30%.

Hi
Family is well, and thank you for asking .You are right about the morgage situation, but 10 years is still a long time to be financially handcuffed. By the way the restriction syas you can not be a director of a limited company ,will that apply to small own buisness. When it comes to my job unfortunately my creditor will take me to a hearing, and the outcome could be licence suspension, and that is bad .But one thing for sure ,it is all nothing compared to the burden of guilt and debt I had for the last 3 years.
thanks again for your kind reply as usual.
