Well weve done it!
we turned up at the court yesturday,to present out petitons, man was very nice,we had to sign in front of him,and then swear our oaths, the wife got a bit tongue tied, its quite nerve racking.
we had to hand over 990.00 pounds,at which was checked over twice.
we were then told to turn up at 9.00 this morning.

we just basically had to wait for about half an hour, before being called into a room with the guy that we saw yesterday-clerk of the court,he handed over our copys of the petition and the bankruptsy letter and said that the OR would contact us later.

we cant say that we feel relieved, gutted is the best word,we then called into see our landlord to inform him of what we had done, before the OR informs him,he wasnt to happy, but did say that as we were always on time with the rent that he was going to think about it!!!!!so more sleepless nights!!the OR PHONED asked a few questions, before fixing phone interviews both seperatly for a weeks time.

OR was very stern, and could not hear him over the background noise, hope this is not the case next week!!

Hey coxy

I know how your feeling, i felt just the same as you for a few weeks after. It will get better, i promise.

Dont be too worried about the OR, they are just doing their job, i cried all the way through mine and the or didnt even flinch, however i have had very little telephone contact since, so thats the silver lining over the cloud.

Take care and try and get some time away from thinking about br.

HI JENNY

Thanks for that, i did ring the helpline earlier to see if we were entitited to ask for a face to face interview the very nice lady on the helpline said absolutely we were.

The OR was difficult to understand when ringing to arrange interview [unless this was a tactic to un-nerve me] anyway he rang back to check our postcode and i asked for a face to face he was quite adamant that it wasnt nessacary and it was due to background noise in his office.

I didnt want to upset him so have settled for phone interview next wednesday.
