Haven't posted for a while because we have been busy getting everything in order ready for hubby's BR. We had a fantastic meeting with Paul from Reviva and he allayed a lot of our worries.
Our hand was forced slightly today by the arrival of a HCEO hammering on the door. I hid and once he was gone I grabbed the phone and called Paul.
So, to cut a long story short, after a day of hard work by all at Reviva, hubby is in court next Tuesday
I've taken the day off work as holiday and I am treating us to a night out for a meal that evening at a new local restaurant. I think we deserve it, we haven't had a night out for months and we will raise a glass to new beginnings.
I can't thank Paul and Ken at Reviva enough for all the fantastic help and constant support. I'm so sorry I nearly killed you both - how was I to know you were allergic to cats

Hi Mr&Mrs
I would just like to wish you and your husband well for next Tuesday. You are in very good hands with Paul and I'm sure Tuesday will not be anything like what you expect, in a good way of course.
Enjoy the meal.

Thanks everyone. It's the beginning of our fresh start. It'll take us years to get back to what we had before he opened his business, but we've got each other, our health and just enough money to live on without all his debts. We've also got 4 amazing grandchildren so there is an awful lot to be grateful for.
I'll let you know how it goes on Tuesday

Its very positive thinking to have a glass of champagne to celebrate. We did something similar ourselves. Of course, it is still a long hard road ahead. Good luck. |

Don't know if we can afford champagne, but a glass of house white is feasible
