Hello

Just wanted to let everyone know that as of today I became officially bankrupt, I arrived paid over my money to a very nice lady, then I had to go and sit in a waiting room until called by the Judge. I was very nervous and when my name was called out I wanted to go home. The Judge was very nice, very matter of fact. Signed the petition, sent me to wait in another room. Next time my name was called it was to speak to a OR who will be handling my case, they had no interest in my bank account and I have a telephone call appointment booked for the 2nd March.

All in all my experience took less than an hour, it was not as I expected at all.

I know not everyones BR will be as easy and perhaps on the 2nd March i will be typing a different story after speaking to the OR. They have said they have no interest in my bank account so that may be a good thing. Just thought I would let other people know who are waiting to go through the process, it definitley is not as bad you might think.

Hi pigsick

glad to hear everything went so well for you today.

Don't worry about the OR meeting either, if you have nothing to hide you will be ok. In my experience 95% of the examiner's are really very understanding.

I'm glad it went well for you, and try not to worry about the OR interview. I found it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Well done pig sick - here's to a debt free future - now try not to worry too much about the OR's appointment, it will not be any where near as bad as you imagine. Hope you had a good nights sleep!
