hubby has a premium bond, worth £1. It was bought for him the day he was born by his grandad who died when he was 7. Is there any chance he'll get to keep it?

Hi

strictly speaking you should declare it on the SoA.
You have 2 choices, don't declare it or offer the OR £1 cash for it.

I wouldn't recommend not listing it on the SOA - I have £12 of Premium Bonds which I forgot to declare on my SOA. When I remembered I contacted the OR who said I could keep them if my partner sent them a cheque for £12.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
