Hi, I went BR in November 2008 - and had my telephone interview with the OR - which was completely awful - in December. He kept trying to force me to give answers about where I had spent all the loans / credit cards, and what on. Since some of them were over 5 years old, I had no idea what I bought with some of the credit, and I told him as much, and that I would only answer honestly as far as I could remember - but he kept saying "Guess" - I don't care what you say - you're not under caution here - Guess what you spent it on." His manner was very intimidating. I felt he was pressuring me into giving fraudulent answers. The interview lasted over an hour, and we didn't even get to my income / expenditure - and he just sent out a form, telling me to fill it in and send it back. I sent it in January, but so far, I 've heard nothing back. Is this normal? Should I be worried? How long does it take to set up and Income Payment agreement? I just want to get on and start paying for whatever period he determines - to get it over and done with. Please let me know of your own experience.

Hi there, so sorry to hear you feel that you had a bad interview with the OR. Providing you sent back the inc & exp forms as requested you should not have any worries, the very worst thing that can happen in you have a disposable income in exccess of £100 and you may have to make payments under an IPO. Do not worry if you do not hear anything for a while, they are extremley busy, but the IPO will only take place mopving forward, it would not be back dated.

Hope this helps Melanie
