hi, my husband filled in his forms today and phoned the court.the apt to take forms and fee is for 21st april to see insolvency officer then it goes to the judge that same afternoon. he has an arranged overdraft for 2 thousand pounds that is currently 1300 overdrawn.can we still take money out the bank to live on as times are so hard at the moment??also what does he have to take to court on the day??thankyou. |

Hi
the balnce of the overdraft should only be used as a last resort and only on essential expenditure. Remeber the SoA must reflect the situation as at the day of the court hearing so that particular debt will need the amount owing revised if you do use it.
On the day you need the completed forms, 1 x 6.27 plus 3 x copies of the 6.28 and of course the court fee of £495 less any discount if you qualify.

Do you have to phone and make an appointment? I thought we could just turn up, hand the forms in, pay and wait to see the insolvency officer? |

It depends on your local court. Some have a walk in policy, but the majority have an appointment system.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

ok, thankyou again john.daisy,we had to phone the court for an appointment.we phoned them yesterday and were given apt for 21st april. |
