Hi Just got back from court. I am now officially Bankrupt. It was not as scary as I thought. I was sent upstairs to see the Judge then sent back downstairs again 10 minutes later. I didn't have to see the Judge, he just looked at my petition and signed it. I then had a conversation with the official receivers office who told me as of today my Halifax account should not be used.I have 8 DD's due to come out on Monday but because I am in my overdraft it is classed as drawing money out which isn't mine. I can see the logic of it. I have some work expenses due to be paid in tomorrow so hopefully they have been stopped. I should sleep better tonight !! Just the OR interview now then all is History. Goodbye debt and credit cards - Never again !!

Welcome to the Club! It is a horrible situation to be in but I was so relieved when I was made bankrupt. It's a hard old slog-and I'm only 4 months in-but we are all heading in the right direction. Good Luck and keep smiling
