I am desperate I have found myself in huge debt and I was expecting some help from a family member who has now let me down. I do not know which way to turn. Would I be best to go and see a solicitor, I am avoiding opening letters and taking calls I know this is wrong but I can't stop. I have a wage but I can't pay the debts that have grown. Please help me I am 52 and life is just a mess
Hi there and welcome to the forum. A solicitor is not what you need, why incur costs.
Let me know the level of your debt, whether you have a house, if so whether or not there is any equity and i could advise further.
