I petitioned for bankruptcy on Wednesday and I am still waiting for a phone call from the OR. Is this normal to wait this long to hear from them? I have also check the insolvency website and my name doesn't seem to be listed. Does it take a while for it to appear on the list. I was under the impression that it would be put on the list on the same day as my bankruptcy petition.
it can take few weeks to appear on the bankruptcy search list. If you are that concerned with regard to the OR appointment, give them a ring and they'll book you and appointment, at least that way you won't worry too much, though from previous posts you will probably worry as you have a date!!! you have done the really hard bit, try to relax - you will get your appointment whether you ring and chase it up or await them to contact you - do whatever makes you happy
