Hi Everyone Does anybody know the rules about renting your property after being Discharged from BR?? and also if one had a BRU if there would be any restrictions on renting the property.
there are no restrictions on renting from the Insolvency side of things. The landlord may take a different view though as it is, of course, their personal perogative to decide who lives in the property. You just need to find one that is understanding.
Hi John I dont think I posted the question too well. What I intended to find out is that can I rent MY property to a tenant after discharge. And is there any issues doing this with or without a BRU. Kind Regards S10
still no restrictions S10. Post discharge increases in income are only affected if an IPA was in place pre discharge and a BRU would not be an issue either.
