Hi Jenny and welcome to the forum. Who is on the tenancy agreement at your new property - you or your daughter? If your daughter only advise the OR immeadiately that you are staying with your daughter and have no interest in the property and as such they have no need to notify the landlord. If, however you are on the tenancy of the new property the OR has to inform the landlord - this does not usually cause or problen, nor result in you losing your home, they have a duty to write to discover if there are any rent arrears. Your landlord will only be concerned that the renatl payments are made and as long as this is the case will not be duly concerned that you are bankrupt.
Hope this helps

No problem, happy to help. Good luck in your new home and I hope life gets 'better' for you now the burden of your debt etc has been lifted. Well done on contacting the OR, some people will do anything to avoid speaking to them, but they really are there to help.

Hi pix1 it just always amazes me that people hesistate to contact them - after all they are the ones best placed to speak to and you can come off the phone safe and secure in the advice given. They are there to administyer your bankruptcy and best placed to give specific advice - the forum is brilliant for general queries, but if specific the OR is always the best bet
