I am having to have counselling for one reason or another and my bosses are aware of this. It would mean that every Monday I would need half a day off for this. I have told them I would be willing to take a pay cut to reflect my working hours if I was to have a lot of counselling sessions. How would the OR see this?

I don't see that they would have a problem. I have taken a voluntary pay cut and I spoke to the RTLU today and they are sending me a new I & E form and they told me not to worry.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

There is nothing wrong with it. Just update the OR accordingly and within 21 days. Of course, less pay means you will be less likely to gat an IPA, assuming you don't already have one. If you do have an IPA the amount will probably be adjusted downwards to reflect the decreased pay.
