Hi there and welcome to the forum - from the informtion you have provided there is nothing to stop you going bankrupt - Do you own a property or rent?
If you wish to file for bankruptcy as you are on JSA you may be eligible for a reduction in the fee from £495 to £345 to file for bankruptcy. Give your local County Court a ring ask to speak to the bankruptcy clerk and request a pack to be sent to you to enable you to file your petition, all the clerk is going to require at this stage is your name and address, whilst on the phone ask when the next available appointment is and book it, as many courts are presently booking 4 -5 weeks ahead.

If you require any help with the forms please post any queries on the forum and we will be pleased to help
