As of 11:20 We were both declared bankrupt...
Its as if a huge weight has been lifted off our sholders :)
The staff at Bristol County Court were fantastic! nobody there today needed to see the judge, just hand in the forms, pay the money, swear the oath, and come back at 11:30 to collect the bankruptcy order.
It was still nerve wracking, even though people had already said there was nothing to it and not to worry. I think the worrying is part of the process that everyone has to go through.
Cheers

Yes...i was worried about the O.R....or Jacob Marley, as i call them!!. I spoke to mine last Thursday, and she was firm, but polite....and as long as you don`t mind eating some humble pie, all will be fine.....that is unless you told some porkies!!. Now, i`m hers for a year or less, so this whole thing can last that long, as we avoid an I.P.O....and they can give you one of those at anytime during your bankruptcy, i believe, then it`s a fresh start!. At least, after the court case, there is no need to crawl around your home on your hands and knees,(in the dark) and avoid the phone anymore!!. |

Hi there and glad to hear everything went okay with you at the court - you are worrying uncessarily about the OR's appointment this is no where near as daunting as attending the court to file, all they are going to do is ask you some questions as to how/why you have found yourself in this position - they are not there to trick you in any way, just discover how you personally got yourself into this situation, most people come off the phone wondering ehy they were so worried prior to the call, try not to stress too much
