ive got a few questions
1/ i live in a council property with my 2 daughters and partner but he works will they take his wages into consideration ?
2/could they take any possesions i have within the family home to pay for any of my debt ?
3/ what are the long affects ?
4/ i have bills to pay and i run a catalogue will that be affected ?
5/ once ive declared bankruptcy will the creditors stop trying to get money ?

Looks though your ned to see a debt councilor CAB can help or national debt line
1 your partners income will be taken into consideration.
2 High valve item will be taken away over £1000 but if debts arent paid to catalogue etec then baliff i think can take anything
3. long term effect no more debt no rope round your neck no more credit for at least 6 yrs maybe longer
4. catalogue will cease.
5. no more hassle from creditors

Hi

whilst your partners income will affect the details you must enter on the documentation please remember that an IPA for you can only happen from the disposable income that you personally have each month. So if your partner is not declaring bankruptcy and you do not work then an IPA is not applicable.

Also it could take up to 6 weeks before the creditor hassle stops completely as they can take a while to update their records.
