Hi

IPA's start at £100, and the lowest precentage of DI at 50% so you would pay £65.

I had DI of £390 and an IPO of £260 has been proposed. This amounts to 66% of DI. Trust me to get the 'higher' end.

Don't worry Xmas Baby, I'm at the higher end as well - at least there's 2 of us!

Good to hear that Skippy. I shouldn't moan I suppose as £260 per month is a damn sight better than the £950 I was paying up until a month or so ago. Plus its only for 3 years and as I'm not expecting any huge pay rise in the next few years and rent and utility bills will no doubt increase, I'm sure the IPO will have to come down during this time anyway. Just surprised how quickly it was all arranged. I was hoping to use the IPO payment for a short holiday just to get over the recent stress and start afresh in May with an IPO then, but it hasn't worked that way. I suppose its better to start the IPO sooner rather than later anyway. Would've been nice to have had a short break though all the same.

When will you be making your first payment? I was given a date for my first payment but I ended up with an extra month before I had to make a payment as no one had contacted me!

I'm currently paying £186 a month, although this will go down after this month's payment as I've had a pay cut at work.

Hi Skippy,

I was declared BK on March 6th and my first IPO payment of £260 is due on 1st April. As I said I wasn't expecting this to be arranged quite so quickly and was hoping for a breather in April and to start the payments in May. Looks like my OR is 'on the ball'... not sure if that is good or bad.
