i was notified of being in a will, near the end of the first year of my bankruptcy. But did not get any money untill 1 month after my release. should i have told the o/r i received the money?

Hi

if the person passed away whilst you were in a bankrupt state, irrespective of when the monies were received, they should be declared to the OR.

In Insolvency you are deemed to be in receipt of (rightful owner of) any funds bequithed, at the moment of passing.
