Further to my previous post regarding housing benefit, the OR did not issue an IPA when I was declared bankrupt as my expenditure exceeded my income by £49 a month. I have now been allowed housing benefit of around £75 per month which leaves me with disposable income of around £25. I am aware that I need to inform the OR of this change in income but would this little amount affect whether I am issued with an IPA.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Shirley

Your DI needs to be over £100 per month before an IPA is issued, so I think you will be ok.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
