Hi
Just wondered if anyone could help

If you get a BRO OR BRU does it extend the discharge period or is it still a year.
I know you have to follow the Bankruptcy rules if you get one.

Even if you get a BRU/O you will still be discharged after a year, providing the discharge hasn't been suspended for any reason - not that I think that'll happen to you!

Technically speaking you would receive your discharge in bankruptcy, however you will still be subject to the restictions of and, implications of,the undertaking/order.
