i was able to read in a certain thread that i need my house to be re possessed first then i will have my bancruptcy .. my bancruptcy date is april 1 @ 10 am .. but my house will be repossessed on the same date april 1 but at 11am .. any advice will be appreciated .. so that i know if i ned to cancel my bancrutcy .. tnx

the timing of the repossession will make no difference to your bankruptcy application being accepted.

tnx john .. for the reply .will any shortfall will be included in the bancruptcy .. tnx .. sorry for further asking is just i need further clarification in this situation i am in .

Hi bob

as long as you have entered the details of your mortgage in the unsecured part of section 4 this will capture any shortfall.

For amount owed enter £1, for date incurred enter unknown, for reason for debt enter potential shortfall.
