Hi

I went bankrupt in October last year (doesn't time flypast). I have not heard from the OR since December last year and was wondering where I stand as far as buying the BI. I also sent them my life insurance policy which as no surrender value and said that I wanted to buy it back.

I suppose no news is good news but I would like to get my house sorted out and my life policy.

I must admit I am putting off phoning the OR office just in case he tells me something I don't want to hear. Should I write to him rather than phone him for the information.

Should I get a written valuation for my home to send to him and can I get one of these for free.

The house next door was reposessed and sold last August for £85000 so could I expect the value on my home to be the same as it is near enough the same and my house as no central heating.

My house was valued at £95000 in Decemeber 2005 so should it be lower?

I have gone onto a lot of these internet sites for free valuations and they come back with some silly prices. One came back with £102000 which I cannot believe, I thought house prices were going down.

Any feed back on these questions would be appreciated.
