I don't owe anything to British Gas but I am sure I have read somewhere that they close account or make you have a Gas Card after BR, is that true?

If you don't owe them anything there is no reason why they would treat you like this.

No debt, doesn't go on the SOA so carry on as normal.

You will be fine tomorrow. don't bother arriving at 9 as you can't do anything until 10.
