spoke to some one today who was very helpful via this site.my question is if my car which is not worth very much is registered in someone elses name will they still be interested in it,at most its worth 1500 if someones feeling sorry for me!!

Hi

the OR will have an interest in the vehicle as it belongs to you. The vehicle not being registered in your name does not disprove that you own it.

If you can demonstrate a genuine need for the vehicle, for work for example, and your estimation of value is correct, then the OR will probably exempt the vehicle meaning you will retain it.
