 My partner is bankcrupt and was seperated

My partner is bankcrupt and was seperated from his wife, she died suddenly, does her debt become his now

Hi there and welcome to the forum. If your partner had any joint debts with his former wife they would be included in the bankruptcy. Your partner would not be liable for any debts which are in her own name. However, if there was a joint property her creditors would be able to press for payment from her 'estate' (assets available following her death such as her share of any property etc)
