Hi bennydm

Are you looking to get a business account or personal account?

If it's just a personal account you require then that wouldn't be a problem. I am with the Co-op and have a cashminder account and get paid by cheque each month and its not a problem.

You don't actually say if you are BR or not but presuming you are then there are a couple of banks that will probably give you an account.
COOP cashminder is one, Barclays do a basic account as do Natwest and as far as i'm aware they will all let you pay in cheques.
