is there a list anywhere of what is allowed for in banjrupty and the amounts. There is myself, husband, and 3 children.i am trying to get some idea of what my disposable income is. thanks

if you have a look at the inslovency service website it lists certain allowances.
Also if you look at some of the other poster's blogs they have listed what they put down and it was accepted.
Sadly it seems to depend a little on the OR but the general allowances are the same
Also it is generally easier if you list on here what you would like to put down and the experts will tell you if the values are too low or too high.

You could also give one of the experts a call or e-mail, you can get their details through the left hand side of the page

Hi cdj... WELLCOME TO THE FORUM...

Im not an expert... but have been posting on the IVA (the sister site to this) from april/may of last year... then the bankruptsy forum this year... I was actually made bankrupt over 4 years ago... The help ive had on the site !!! has helped me every step of the way... The experts on here are exellent... Im sure there,ll be help coming your way very soon...

If you look on the left side of the site... the listings there have lots of info... Explaining the full process & ins & outs...
