I went bankrupt on 6 March this year and all seems to have gone very quiet. Is this normal? I have had some contact with my OR and I assume I have had the telephone interview as she asked various questions about my debt, etc. I received a I&E and an IPA payment was suggested. I duly sent all the documents which she sent to me, together with my bank/credit card statements a month ago, but I have not heard anything else since. I did phone my OR a few weeks ago as I received some backpay and I wanted to tell her about it and whether she would claim it, but she said it was such a small amount, it wouldn't be worth the extra paperwork. I still haven't heard anything from Moonbeever regarding my IPO payments. Is it normal for them to take a few months before asking you to start the IPO payments? I am nearly into my third month since bankruptcy. My OR did mention that it would be between myself and Moonbeevers to suggest a starting date for my IPO. When they do contact me, do you think I could delay starting the repayments for a couple of months, or will I be expected to start on exactly the date they suggest?

Thanks

Hi

it's not unusual to hear nothing for a while. It all depends on the case load of your particular OR's office. As they have 12 months to ask more questions and to initiate the IPA they have plenty of time just yet.
