now on a four day week and 20% pay cut will take a while to save money up any ideas what i should do in the meantime ref creditors i have about 7 some have not contacted me for over two years now can just about manage priority bills do they go for ccjudgements whats others advice
Generally if you are making some sort of payment they will not go to court for CCJ as it costs them money. Also if you are being honest about your income with them the court will only tell you to pay what you can afford anyway. and they know this. The threat of court is a much bigger deterrent for most people to try and pay their debts, but sometimes people feel forced into paying what they cannot afford. Reduce your payments according to your income and tell them why when they ask, court action would be unlikely whilst you are attempting to pay them and not denying liability

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurman) Life's too short!!!
Personally I wouldnt pay the creditors, I would write to them inform them that you are considering bankruptcy, offer them a token payment of £1 each for the interim and inform them of your current financial situation, I also wouldnt inform them of your expenditure at this stage.
The worst a creditor can do is file your bankruptcy and in the day it saves your fees.
