Today was finally the day - entered court @ 10 am - saw the judge @ 11 - BR @ 11.07 - quick hello to the OR and having lunch by 12

Clerk was fine and very helpful / polite - Judge was a bit frosty but soon cheered up.

I know many people have worried themselves silly over this day - my wife and I for one but having read the many posts including this one the day is really an anti climax - certainly nothing to lose sleep over.

Spoke to our OR in Chester (who sounded about 16 years old & quite tasty )

We have a telephone interview on the 13th May @ 8 and 1 respectiveley.

It was October 2008 when we decided that Br was perhaps our best option and with free advise from an IP and very sage feedback and knowledge from this invaluable site its now happened.

We have a totaly new life - a rented house, kids in new schools, my wife has a new job - I've started to look at a new job too - we don't worry or argue about money and we sleep like contented logs.

Its not a minor thing but if it is something you are thinking about - plan it - get advise - think of the outcome - ask lots of questions and then go for it - it really isn't as bad as you may think.

Will keep you posted re the OR interview...

Cheers

Tim

Nice one Tim glad it went well for you both, i thought you'd be OK Chester seemed a "nice " court and everyone was great for me as well.
OR interview will go smoothly for you as well i'm sure.
