Hi there

the decision to close the account lies with the bank and not the official receiver.

It appears that the banks are changing their policies at the minute and while your account would be OK last summer it might be different now.

There is no harm in preparing for the worst just in case.

The COOP CASHMINDER account is ok for people in Br and gives you standing orders / direct debits / internet & telephone banking PLUS an VISA ELECTRON CARD which is a bonus.

You can apply by telephone as well.

if you apply now you will get it open in time your your salary to go in at the end of the month incase they close the A&L account
