Hi,
Great forum lots of quality advice and info, i am currently completing my online forms for BR following a failed IVA which seems straight forward. However, could someone point me in the right direction regarding two items of expenditure. I am single living in a house with the landlord and pay rent.

What would be an acceptable figure for me to put down for the following:

Housekeeping ( food and cleaning ),this was £190 in my IVA
Clothing, this was £50 in my IVA

Thanks
Ken

Sorry to hear about the IVA. There seem to be more and more people in the same situation with a failed IVA the current financial crisis and is one reason that I am going straight for BR rather than trying an IVA. The chances of me having the same amount of disposable income for the next 60 months are hard to believe.

Housekeeping and clothing should both be fine. They are towards the top of the recommended amounts but shouldn't be a problem.

Depends on your circs. Gone BR and had OR interview today Very positive and non judgemental.
S o A = I put down £250 as a single but OR allowed by their guidlines £200 Much more for a couple
However I had put £25 for clothes and OR allowed £50 as I had to wear formal clothes to work
Only allowed £ 20 for a holiday
