Hi we went BR on the 29th April and other than calling the OR office the folling day to add an extra debt we have heard nothing, not even recieved any forms that I believe you have to fill in before the OR interview. I know that they are busy but to hear nothing for almost 2 weeks is this normal.

Thanks

Mick

Hi Ripski it was in Newcastle court but after speaking to the OR the day after about the extra debt he mentioned that an office in Leeds will be dealing with our case. Just wish we could get it over and done with.

Are you liable to have an IPA? If not it may be that the OR doesn't need to interview you.

I think someone else had a similar situation and they chased up the OR who told them that they didn't need the interview. The ORs seem to be extremely busy at the moment so there have been occasions where they haven't notified people who don't need interviews. It could also be, as ripski, said that they have a big backlog at the moment.

Do you have any contact details of the office in Leeds? Maybe you could send them an email or give them a call to see what is happening.

Hi if our I&E is accepted as it is we wont get an IPA as we have about £30 excess after basic needs.

Just looked on the insolvancy website and theres a tel number there so will give them a ring on monday.

I never knew that you can sometimes get away with not having an interview.

I will just accept that I am having one and then if we dont need one thats a bonus.

Thanks

Mick
