What methods would the OR use & how long and hard do they generally look for an involuntary BR

I don't quite understand what you need to know here. But in general the OR has very wide powers to investigate the affairs and conduct of bankrupts regardless of whether it was a debtor's or creditor's petition. Much of the leads for investigations come from creditor's or associated parties providing information and from the financial records of the bankrupt.
