If I am made bankrupt by a creditor, what effect doe it have on other creditors? Can they still chase me for their money? Will I be given opportunity to list all my creditors? And finally, do I have to attend my bankruptcy hearing even when I was not served personally?

If you know when the hearing is it is always worth turning up. Make sure you get some advice from one of the debt charities or click on the experts link on here and have a chat with them, so you understand the implications of what is happening to you.

The OR will send you a pack to fill in and you will list all your creditors and your SOA. Before you send it back make sure you get your SOA checked over by the folks on here. All your creditors will be included in your bankruptcy.

Who is petitioning for your bankruptcy?
