Hi,

I'm a sole trader in a business with 4 years remaining on a lease. I'm struggling to pay the rent/bills and have been putting it on credit cards hoping trade will pick up for me and i'll be ok. Realistically, i'm getting into debt. Can i declare myself BR and get out of the lease or will they try and sue me for the remaining years rent?

Hi Jow1

I think this is a repeat question , nowever you should realise that a business situation is much more complicated than an individual situation because your business is your job etc etc.

I would really suggest you take professional advice from one of the site experts to go through the whole situation and work through all of your options.
