I was divorced 6yrs ago and ex wife bought me out of our house.

I banked £30,000 which i blow

On forms it asks if diposed of property in last 5yrs but this was 6 yrs so didnt put it down why is OR asking questions about it

They will just want to ensure that it was disposed of, and when and for what value. To ensure it was not transferred 'under value' or put out of the reach of your creditors - just look on it as dotting the i's and crossing the t's
